I'm an avid reader with a somewhat eclectic academic background. With a B.A. in History, I've done graduate work in History and doctoral study in Medical Information Science. In 2007, I completed a Masters Degree in Knowledge Management at CSU Nothridge. My initial goal was to teach at the community college level, but life often has other plans.
Professionally, I've spent over twenty years in technology operations and support, with over fourteen in managerial and executive roles. Currently I'm the Director of Technology Support Services for the Ventura County Community College District, managing support services spanning the all three community college's in Ventura County, California.
My current passions include, baseball, reading, writing fiction and my family (pictured left in December of 2010). We maintain a blog (sort of) for the boys, so family can keep up with their exploits -- also linked above. I'm intermittently active with OWW (OnlineWritersWorkshop), and am working on my next novel.
